Junior Wangho

Where Life Champions Are Trained

JR. WANGHO

An exceptional Tae Kwon Do experience tailored for young individuals aged 13-16. Our dedicated instructors understand the unique needs of this age group and have created a program that fuses the powerful benefits of martial arts with targeted character development. By joining our Jr. Wangho program, your child will not only acquire vital self-defense skills but also foster essential qualities such as respect, leadership, and self-control.

Respect is a fundamental value that students learn to incorporate into their Tae Kwon Do practice and daily lives. Through traditional practices such as bowing—a time-honored gesture of respect—they demonstrate genuine courtesy and appreciation towards their instructors and peers. Our culture of respect extends beyond our studio, encouraging students to treat family, friends, and teachers with the same level of consideration and politeness. By fostering an environment built on respect, we aim for well-rounded individuals who value positive interactions and relationships and treat others with care.

Our program is designed to cultivate leadership skills in all our students. They will learn to lead by example, offer guidance, and work collaboratively in group settings. Through various drills and team-building exercises, your child will develop the ability to communicate effectively, make informed decisions, and motivate those around them. Our class culture promotes students to take initiative to encourage others to achieve their best. These leadership skills will prepare them for future challenges and opportunities, both inside and outside our studio.

We place great emphasis on teaching our students how to effectively manage their emotions and impulses. Through regular practice and a structured curriculum, children develop the ability to channel their energy into productive and focused actions. As students’ progress in their Tae Kwon Do journey, they will learn techniques that require patience, discipline, and a calm mind. Our instructors provide guidance on how to maintain composure during challenging situations, which helps students build a strong foundation of self-control. Moreover, self-control plays a significant role in fostering healthier relationships with others. By managing their emotions and reactions, students can approach conflicts and disagreements with a level-headed mindset. As they grow into confident, respectful leaders, they will possess the ability to navigate challenges and make sound decisions, guided by a strong sense of discipline and emotional intelligence.
